Birthday party

Today was Cadi's third birthday party. You had a blast bouncing in the moonwalk but had to be reminded at least a few times to quit digging holes in the dirt. What is it with boys and dirt anyways?! 

 You played with friends, you played independently. 

You took photos of the birthday came with professional intent. 

You ate cake, and when you finished your monster piece of cake, you had icecream too. Yup, you've got a pretty awesome Mom.

Exploring surface tension... and other toddler experiments

One of my friends just told me that she thinks I'm a "Cool and Fun" Mom. I'm taking that as a HUGE compliment!!! I mean, we do have rules around here (as Kian is on the floor wrapping himself in a roll of duct tape aka "exploring surface tension" and eating a spoon of peanut butter aka "nutrition and flavor exploration" :), but we also try and have as much FUN as possible! btw - don't tell Dad about the duct tape, ok?!

My wish for you is that you never stop learning from experimenting.

Tailgating at SHSU today with your awesome uncle, Kyle. We told you that you could put your chair wherever you wanted. Apparently you're too cool to hang out with Mom and Dad. Lol!

Momma's work

My best days at work are the days you come visit me. You run around the Doctor's Lounge like a Tasmanian devil. You charm everyone that passes by with your sweet smile.
